Larry Wayne Mays, 66, of Lampasas, passed away on September 29, 2020, in his home after a difficult battle with cancer.

After a brief attempt at retirement, Larry began his second career working for Burnet and Lampasas school districts. Between both BCISD and Lampasas ISD, Larry worked in the school system for 10 years and was known in both districts as always being willing to lend a helping hand.

He was also actively involved in the Lampasas community through his time volunteering with the Lampasas Mission Food Pantry.
