LaTona Ellett, age 69, went home to be with our Lord on June 8, 2020 at Seton Williamson County Hospital surrounded by her loved ones.
LaTona was born in Allen Clinic and Hospital in Burnet, Texas, on January 19, 1951, the daughter of Eugene Oran Hinds and Ava Young Hinds. She lived most of her life in and around Burnet County. She worked many years as a dialysis tech and had many interests and a host of friends. She loved her family and good gospel music.
Her husband of 51 years, Billy Ellett, their 2 children Wendy and husband Tony Lewis of Austin, and Howard and wife Shelia Ellett of Burnet survive her. She has six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren, and sister Pamela and husband John Ferguson of Bertram.
LaTona is preceded in death by her parents, one brother Randall Hinds, two sisters Emma Jean Hinds and Ava Joyce Spiekerman, one nephew Glen Oran Ringstaff and one great niece Savannah Samuels.
The family wishes to extend a special thanks to all the friends and staff at Seton Williamson County for their wonderful care.
