Lillie Rodriguez Lujan

Lillie R. Lujan, 60, of Burnet, passed away on July 12, 2020, unexpectedly with her family by her side.

She was born to the late Alberto Rodriguez and is survived by her mother Delia Rodriguez on Sept. 4, 1959 in Ojinaga, Mexico. Lillie was a true Texan by heart where she was raised and laid down her roots.

Lillie was happily married to Mike Lujan, who was her partner in life for 26 years. Lillie is survived by her husband, Michael Lujan; her three daughters, Linda Garcia of Burnet, Nancy and JoeDaniel Carrasco of San Antonio, Brenda Garcia and Javier Alvarez of Pflugerville; her grandchildren, Brittany and Cody Weller, Jonathon Martinez, Dai’V-yan, Dominic, Derick, Claudia, Deidra, Blake Garcia, Juan Carlos Mireles, Brice Michael Craig, Syriana, JoeDaniel, and Milania Carrasco; her first great-granddaughter Zaylee Weller; her two sisters, Lucy R. Salcido, Delia Rodriguez and Ruben Carrasco; and her two brothers, Sammy Rodriguez and Albert Rodriguez. She leaves behind many other family members who will truly miss her.

Lillie was always well known to have the biggest heart around.

She was known for her contagious smile and always embraced you with a huge hug. She was always so welcoming to anyone and always made you feel like you were part of the family.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was truly a kind beautiful soul, and courageous woman that will be missed tremendously.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life gathering on Saturday, Aug. 1, 2020 at 2 p.m. at Clements-Wilcox Funeral home, 306 E. Polk St., Burnet.
