Quint Brooks Riley of Burnet passed away on Friday, June 4, 2021, at age 57. He was born May 17, 1964, in Austin to Tommy Riley and Carolyn Carlisle Riley.

With the exception of a couple years after his birth in Austin, Quint was a lifelong resident of Burnet. He was a 1982 graduate of Burnet High School where he played football, basketball and ran track and participated in other school activities and clubs.

For many years Quint worked as a roofing supervisor in the family business and also for other companies. He loved hunting, watching football, and his Mother’s cooking. Most of all he loved his son Tiger.

Survivors include his son Ty Brooks “Tiger” Riley, Mother Carolyn Riley, brothers and sisters-in-law Tommy and Jill Riley and Martin and Debbie Riley, all of Burnet, and sister and her partner Laurie Sellars and Charlie Blair of Kingsland. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, and other relatives and close friends. Quint was preceded in death by his Father Tommy “Big Tom” Riley.

A time for visitation for friends and family was held Sunday afternoon, June 6, at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home. A graveside service and burial was held Monday, June 7 at Lakeland Hills Memorial Park. Pallbearers weree Tommy Riley, Martin Riley, Cade Riley, Jess Riley, Chris Wilson, Stan Lewis, W.T Cozby, plus honorary pallbearer John Luke.
