Ralph Vaughn Baker, 82, passed away on November 7, 2020.

A funeral service is planned for 11 a.m., Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at Bertram Church of Christ, Bertram, Texas with burial to follow at Bear Creek Cemetery in Bertram. Officiating will be Mr. Linvell Baker and serving as pallbearers are Dwight Hardin, Duane Jay, Richard Hensley, Robert Waley, Lyle Welty, and Jack Culp.

The family received friends Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at Jenkins Funeral Home, 109 N. Main St Burnet, Texas.

Ralph was born on January 14, 1938 in Bertram, Texas to William and Joyce Baker. He served his country in the Army National Guard from 1961 to 1966 as a sharpshooter and a truck driver. He was a member and attended Bertram Church of Christ. Ralph loved farming, hunting, trapping, and anything else in the great outdoors. He also loved socializing and never met a stranger.

He is preceded in death by his first wife, Amanda Baker; sisters, Maxine Hall, and Ruth Matern; brothers, Billy Baker, and Garry Baker.

He is survived by his wife, Fay Baker; stepdaughters, Karen Hardin and her husband Dwight, and Katherine Lewis; five step grandchildren and five step great grandchildren.

Arrangements for Mr. Baker were handled under the care of Jenkins Funeral Home, Burnet, Texas.
