Authorities arrested a Killeen man in a traffic stop Jan. 7, allegedly connected to a stolen vehicle case, burglary and convenience store robbery in Burnet County, officials said.

Emmanuel Harris, 32, of Killeen was stopped around 10 a.m. that morning by the Killeen Police Department in that city and charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. He was taken to the Bell County Jail.

Investigators reported the suspect's arrest in Killeen was connected to a vehicle reported stolen about an hour earlier the same day in the 6000 block of Farm-to-market Road 2657 in Burnet County.

“The owner reported that his vehicle had been stolen from his residence while he was out and about on his property,” a press release stated. “He further reported that his residence had been burglarized with a number of firearms stolen.”
