How Country Are Ya?

Kelly McDuffie/Special to the Bulletin

Thousands of fans attended a concert at Burnet's Haley-Nelson Park, featuring Kevin Fowler as part of the summer concert series. The event — coordinated by Double Eagle Entertainment — is funded in part by the city and the economic development corporation to help bring more tourism dollars into the city. Fowler, an Amarillo native, was formerly a member of the hard rock band Dangerous Toys before switching genres and beginning a country music career. His new album, “Barstool Stories,” is coming out in stores Aug. 23.
