Burnet Chamber seeking Christmas bicycle sponsors

The Burnet Chamber of Commerce cordially invites local businesses, organizations, and individuals to become a sponsor of The Christmas on the Square festival to be held Saturday, Dec. 14, 2019.

The Chamber is especially excited to announce that, in addition to a parade, Arts & Crafts vendors, holiday entertainment & a visit from Santa, downtown Burnet will again have ‘Snow on the Square’ that includes a snow slide and two snow play areas, compliments of Burnet County and the City of Burnet!

It is because of our supportive friends that the festival has become a holiday tradition where families return year after year to celebrate the Christmas season. Of course, one of the highlights of the day is the Bicycle Giveaway following the evening parade, and we need your help to give away as many bicycles to deserving children as possible.

At the left, families gather around the main stage across from the Burnet County Courthouse after its lighting to prepare for the bicycle giveaway and a meeting with Santa during last year's Christmas on the Square. This year's event is scheduled to take place Saturday, Dec. 8, from 12 to 9 p.m.
At the right, Main Street Bethlehem cast members train well before the production to ensure visitors are provided a genuine experience as they travel through the small town of Bethlehem on the night of Jesus' birth. This year's Main Street Bethlehem will take place for two weekends, Dec. 7 – 9 and 14 – 16, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the corner of Boundary and Washington Streets.
