Burnet City Council approves employee assistance program

City of Burnet Council approved at their regular meeting Tuesday, April 9, the City’s participation in an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) with Alliance Work Partners, a full-service program offered to City employees which includes substance abuse counseling, psychological counseling, management training, financial and legal assistance, and other services geared towards assisting employees in various areas of need.

AWP offers online resources for employees, a SafeRide program in which employees and their family members will be reimbursed for cab rides, financial wellness programs, and more. If provided to all City employees, the fiscal impact of the services will be approximately $2,700 per year.
