London Jones graduated from Tarleton State University on Saturday, May 11, and by Wednesday, May 15, she had moved down to Burnet to begin her new job as the Burnet County AgriLife Extension Agent for Family and Community Health. Jones succeeded agent Linda Wells, who retired last year.

A native of Dublin, Texas, Jones grew up on a dairy farm, showing dairy cattle, and participating in six different sports, then moved on to run for the track team in college.

She graduated with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Food Nutrition, and is now bringing her knowledge and ideas to the table for the benefit of the county.
