Historic trees have been the topic of much discussion for Burnet City Council members as they mull over tree removal regulations regarding developments throughout the city.

The topic has come up frequently in their regular meetings, as well as a few workshops, during which council members strive to settle on a mutual agreement best suited for the city and its residents.
