Amory Jackson represented Burnet, Texas as she traveled to Tulsa, Oklahoma January 11th through the 15th to compete in the Our Little Miss World’s Scholarship Pageant. There were thirty other contestants in her age group, from all over the world competing in interview, evening gown, on-stage question, casual wear and team OLM, which is where they are judged on how well they interact with their peers.

The First Baptist Church of Burnet will begin to enter a new era over the next 12 months. Earlier this week, church officials participated in a groundbreaking ceremony Church… ‘It will be very difficult to say goodbye to our present building.’ – Pastor Doug Lindley to commemorate their plans to build and open a new worship center by March 2025.
