Burnet library set to host genealogy workshop

The Herman Brown Free Library will host the “Building and Researching Your Family Tree” workshop 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. July 15 in the library at 100 E. Washington near the County Courthouse.
Waco-McLennan County Library Genealogy Center experts Bill Buckner and Hannah Kubacak will teach attendees how to collect and evaluate resources needed to learn more about one’s family tree.  
Buckner is the Texas State Genealogical Society District H Representative and a fellow with the Central Texas Genealogical Society.
As the Waco Genealogy Center reference librarian, Kubacak regularly helps people find facts and records about their ancestry. During the past several years, she has completed research related to the Texas Five Civilized Tribes.
