Local McDonald’s owners and operators will give back to the families of fallen and critically injured first responders in April.

In honor of the 100 Club’s mission, the Hill Country McDonalds will host its Annual Good Friday Fundraiser benefiting Hill Country 100 Club and surrounding communities.

On Friday, April 15, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., a percentage of the sales from all participating McDonald’s restaurants will be donated to local 100 Clubs.

Since its inception, the Good Friday Fundraiser was established to financially assist area 100 Clubs and support their mission of providing financial assistance to the families of first responders. It also serves as a way for first responders to interact with the community. Since that time, $526,137.91 has been raised for local 100 Club chapters.

“Our first responders put their lives on the line for our safety and this fundraiser allows the community a way to give back, “ said Maria Lim, McDonald’s Owner/Operator. “McDonald’s in the Texas Hill Country and Highland Lakes is an honored and proud supporter of our local 100 Clubs and deeply appreciates what they do for our communities.”

Hill Country 100 Club Chairman J. Frank Blagg added, “The Hill Country 100 Club is so grateful to McDonald’s for their continued support of our organization. We are honored to be a part of 21st Annual Good Friday Fundraiser and hope everyone can join us April 15 and show support for these vital members of our community.”

The public is encouraged to visit the local McDonald’s on Good Friday for a meal in which part of the proceeds will go to support the families of local first responders.
