The Burnet County Rodeo returns May 14 and 15 to the county fairgrounds, 1301 Houston Clinton Drive in Burnet.

Advance tickets are available at the Burnet Chamber of Commerce, Hill Country Auto Glass and Blair’s Western Wear. Adult tickets are $15; children ages 6 to 10 are $5; and children 5 and under are free.

Friday, May 14 will be Patriotic Night with a performance by Trey Gilleland; Southern Junction will perform on Saturday, May 15.

On top of the usual rodeo competitions, the event will feature entertainment for all ages with the kids calf scramble, shoe scramble and mutton bustin’. Parents can sign their children up at Blair’s Western Wear or at the fairgrounds.

Fan-favorite rodeo clown Leon Coffee will also be present at the event.
