From cyber-safety to connectivity issues, coordinators of an upcoming meeting want to gage the experiences and concerns of local residents.

The Texas Broadband Development Office invites all to attend a “Burnet Digital Opportunity Planning Meeting” 10 a.m. July 21 in Burnet at the Community Center, 401 E. Jackson.

Organizers plan to discuss how consumers may acquire affordable and reliable access to Internet service, intricate cyberspace security issues and more.

BDO is operated by the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts, awards grants, lowinterest loans and other financial incentives to internet service providers who expand access to broadband service in underserved areas.
