As many in our community are aware, yesterday’s fatal car accident involved 16-year-old Quest High School student Logan Dokupil. We have been made aware that services for Logan will be held on Tuesday, December 20, 2022, at 2:00pm in the chapel at Clement-Wilcox Funeral Home in Burnet. Memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.ClementsWilcoxBurnet.com for the Dokupil family. Our hearts are saddened by this loss, and our thoughts and prayers are with Logan’s family.

A tragic loss like this can impact us in many ways. Everyone grieves differently, and that is okay. We might be grieving because we knew and cared for Logan, feeling sympathy for the family and loved ones, or being reminded of other losses we have experienced.

During the holiday season, many individuals are reminded of past grief and trauma. Grief can appear differently for us all, depending on our age, experience with loss, and relationships. It is important to take care of yourself to promote good mental health. Eat healthy, drink plenty of water, get plenty of sleep, exercise to release pent up energy, or do something relaxing to calm yourself. Whatever you are experiencing, we want you to know that you are not alone and that support is available.
