Army veteran Travis Skimmer of the Burnet County Sheriff’s Office, held the American Flag during the opening ceremony of the Demolition Derby Saturday, Oct. 14 in Burnet.

During the National Anthem, spectators viewed the demolition cars that would smash later in the evening Oct. 14 at the Burnet Demolition Derby at the Burnet County rodeo arena.
