The Burnet Police Department is hosting its 3rd annual “Giving Back to the Community” Drive-Thru Turkey Dinner.

Families are welcome to drop by the police department headquarters at 2000 S. US 281 (Water Street) on Wednesday, November 23 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. to pick up a free Thanksgiving meal to-go.

It's simple, pull up and tell us how many dinners you would like and we will bring them to you. This is our way of giving back to the community.

If you can't make it or you have elderly relatives or friends, we will deliver a meal inside the city limits.

Again, this is totally free and our way of saying thank you to the community.

Call 512-756-6404 no later than 4 p.m. Nov. 22 if you need a scheduled delivery.
