On Saturday, Jan. 28, the Highland Lakes Service League will hold its annual Chuck Wagon Chow Down Dinner and Auction fundraising event, which will kick off at 5:30 p.m. at the YMCA in Burnet.

Ticketed guests will enjoy a BBQ dinner provided by Pok-e-jo’s with live music from the duo of David Horner and Patrick Russell. Some of the night’s activities include live and silent auctions, wine pull, and a trip raffle with the winner choosing from locations in Tuscany, Cabo San Lucas, Puerto Vallarta, or Colorado.

Exciting live auction items include:

• Foursome of golf at TPC San Antonio and one-night stay with two rooms at the Courtyard by Marriott

• Beautiful cabin in Red River, New Mexico, that sleeps 8

• HeliBacon helicopter hog hunt

• Kevin Fowler autographed custom acoustic guitar

• Costa Rica allinclusive five night stay for two Critical needs throughout the Highland Lake area are supported by the Service League and funded through this important annual fundraiser, including women’s scholarships, grants for local community organizations, and outreach activities such as the annual Special Needs Christmas Party.
