The church remembers with gratitude the efforts of so many people and especially the assistance of David Belvin and the Baker Family. The Tabernacle adjacent to
The Tabernacle adjacent to the original building received only minor damage and that has since been repaired.
Beginning in August the congregation began holding services in the Tabernacle on alternate Sunday Mornings. Those services still continue.
The church building burned, but the Mahomet Christian Church did not. Members of the church are in the early stages of plans for a new church building.
