Llano County appraisal values up $0.8 million
Certified market value of real estate property in Llano County hit nearly $8.7 billion this year, according to records from the Llano Central Appraisal District — up from $7.9 billion a year ago.
LCAD officials released certified values for all of the taxing entities in Llano County this week in accordance with state law.
The certified market value of Llano County property for 2021 is just south of $8.721 billion, up nearly $814 million from the $7.907 billion certified for 2020. Once homestead exemptions are taken into consideration, the taxable value for property in 2021 is more than $5.996 billion, up more than $964 million from the $5.032 billion certified for 2020. There was $138.6 million in new construction in Llano County in 2021.
City of Horseshoe Bay
The majority of the City of Horseshoe Bay located in Llano County has a 2021 certified market value of $2.55 billion, up more than $240 million from $2.31 billion in certified market value in 2020. After any exemptions are taken into consideration, that amount drops to $2.32 billion in taxable value for 2021, which is still up $216 million from the 2020 taxable value of $2.104 billion. The 2021 new value due to construction is $74.2 million.
City of Llano
The City of Llano has a 2021 certified market value of nearly $318.4 million, up more than $18.1 million from $300.3 million in certified market value in 2020. After any exemptions are taken into consideration, that amount drops to $226.7 million in taxable value for 2020, which is still up $14.5 million from the 2020 taxable value of $212.2 million. The City of Llano had nearly $2.52 million in new construction for 2021.
City of Sunrise Beach
The City of Sunrise Beach has a 2021 certified market value of more than $561.1 million, up more than $22.2 million from $538.9 million in certified market value in 2020. After any exemptions are taken into consideration, that amount drops to nearly $510.7 million in taxable value for 2020, which is still up nearly $21.5 million from the 2020 taxable value of $489.2 million. New value for City of Sunrise Beach is almost $5.69 million.
KMUD
The Kingsland Municipal Utility District has a 2021 certified market value of almost $1.01 billion, up more than $130.3 million from $870.7 million in certified market value in 2020. After any exemptions are taken into consideration, that amount drops to $936.5 million in taxable value for 2021, which is still up $122.8 million from the 2020 taxable value of $813.7 million. The 2021 new value due to construction is nearly $25.4 million.
Burnet CISD
The 2021 certified property market value for the portion of Burnet CISD in Llano County is $551.2 million, up $61 million from $490.2 million in 2020. After any exemptions are taken into consideration, that amount drops to $430.6 million in taxable value for 2021, which is still up $45.3 million from the 2020 taxable value of $385.3 million. New construction is valued at $4.83 million.
Llano ISD
Llano ISD’s 2021 certified property market value is $8.128 billion, up more than $726 million from $7.402 billion in 2020. After any exemptions are taken into consideration, that amount drops to $5.154 billion in taxable value for 2020, which is still up $504 million from the 2020 taxable value of $4.65 billion. New construction value is at $133.8 million.
Johnson City ISD
The 2021 certified property market value for the portion of Johnson City ISD in Llano County is $35.2 million, up $22.86 million from $13.34 million in 2020. After any exemptions are taken into consideration, that amount drops to $11.35 million in taxable value for 2021, up $6.96 million from the 2020 taxable value of $4.39 million. There has been no new construction.
