Big hits boost softball over Gateway, 3-2

The Lady Dawgs varsity softball team has been on a roll as of late adding up five-straight victories over the past two weeks. That includes a district victory over Gateway, 3-2, in the opener. Versus Gateway on Tuesday each team scored one in the first to knot the contest, 1-1. Burnet took a 2-1 lead in the bottom of the third on a Maddi Moise homerun over the right field fence.
