Experience gained for tennis in Taylor

  • The Lady Bulldog powerlifting team has qualified 10 athletes to lift at this Friday’s regional meet being hosted in Dublin. Those lifters, along with their coaches include front row Lainey Rye, Abby Smith, and Hailee Beltran. Middle row, Emmalee Williams, Kasey Watson, Maddi Moise, Josie Teague, and Kimberly Watson. Back row, Coach Tyler McIntosh, Alexis Leatherwood, Madeline Cardenas, and Coach Trevor Couch. Also traveling with the team as alternates are Kenley Currie and Gracie Wiggs.

The Bulldog tennis teams traveled to Taylor this week to participate in the Taylor Spring Invitational. The varsity players took to the courts first with matches on Thursday. Earning early wins in their main draw of their respective categories were Nick Dietrich, Blake Feldt, Kendall Bible, Alex Davis, Tatum Salinas, and Aly Van Zandt.
