Gracie Farmer prepares for her squat with the assistance of Brady Rygaard who helped wrap knees for Burnet’s girls at Regionals. The Burnet boys powerlifting team is sending 10 lifters to compete at the upcoming Regional Meet. A huge smile emerges on the face of Maddi Moise as she sees white lights flash signifying a good squat. The 280 pound lift was a new personal record for Moise who earned a regional championship and spot at state.
The Lady Bulldog powerlifting team had an incredible day at Regionals on Friday and not only qualified three lifters to advance to state but also finished third as a team overall. The Lady Dawgs totaled 33 team points for the bronze finish.
