The Lady Bulldog softball team finished round one of district play last week with a perfect 5-0 record. Burnet knocked off Jarrell 6-2, and dismantled Marble Falls 13-0. Three of those wins came in shutout fashion and were called by mercy rule before seven innings. Burnet’s varsity team is 18-9 overall.
The JV softball team has also been getting it done and have a 3-0 record in district play.
