Dawgs ‘FEAST’ on medals

The BHS cross country teams traveled to San Antonio on Saturday to compete at the FEAST meet. As a team the girls placed fourth overall and the boys took sixth. Medalists for Burnet included Hudson Bennett, who finished first in his session with a 16:40; Andy Urista placed ninth with a 17:49; and Rose Flores crossed the finish line in third with a 13:01.

Varsity Boys

Hudson Bennett, 1, 16:40.5; Andy Urista, ninth, 17:49.6; Moses DeLuna, 57, 20:37.1; Devin Petterson, 65, 21:29.3; Will Lewis, 69, 21:56.5; Diego Chavira, 79, 22:29.1; and Matthew Silva, 90, 24:13.5.

Varsity Girls

Rose Flores, third, 13:01.3; Kaycie Banton, 34, 14:36.3; Brynn Holland, 14:40.6; Cierra Blunt-Culpepper, 14:41.1; Autumn Stires, 40, 14:53.1; Caroline Rojas, 41, 14:54.8; Zoe Nicholl, 44, 14:57.9; Julianna Suazo, 45, 14:58.3; Lainey Rye, 47, 15:01.7; Halaina Rojas, 60, 15:54.6; Haylie Bartlett, 62, 16:15.1; and Dani Montalvo, 67, 17:19.3.
