A thunderstorm brought high winds, hail and torrential rain to parts of Burnet and Llano counties on Friday night, May 5 causing damage to structures, trees and temporary power outages. In Burnet and northeast Burnet County, residents reported golf ball to baseball-sized hail which pelted vehicles and roof tops, causing damage in about half an hours time.
