Effective June 20, 2022, the City of Burnet will implement Stage 2 Restrictions of the city’s Drought Contingency Plan.
Stage 2 Restrictions allow residential and commercial watering twice (2X) per week according to the last digit of your street address, as shown in the schedule below. Customers may water on their schedule days only during the night and morning, between 7:00PM and 10:00AM.

“The region-wide drought we are currently experiencing is forecast to be continued throughout the Summer months. In implementing Stage 2 of our Drought Contingency Plan we work in partnership with our neighboring communities and state and regional water agencies to maintain the health of our water supply as we head into the hottest months ahead. We are currently in good shape, and with these measures as a community we will continue that trend.”
