Burnet County Child Welfare Board President Caroline Ragsdill heard the Burnet County Commissioners Court declare April as Child Abuse Prevention and Awareness Month during the April 11 session.
The Burnet County Commissioners Court has proclaimed April is Child Abuse Prevention and Awareness Month.
Senior Commissioner (Pct. 4) Joe Don Dockery announced the proclamation during the April 11 meeting in the County Courthouse.
“This effort will give abused and neglected children in our county and around the country a chance for a safe and positive future,” according to the proclamation.
