School board filings begin

The next Burnet Consolidated Independent School District Board of Trustees election is May 6. Candidates for Place 3 or Place 7 may file for election until 5 p.m. Feb. 17 in Burnet at the Burnet CISD Central Office, 208 E. Brier St.

Place 3 incumbent Suzanne Brown and Place 7 incumbent Mark Kincaid recently filed for re-election to another three-year term.
