Lady Dawg, Sierra Schaefer (12) quickly showed Salado why they should respect her shot. Schaefer and her squad evened the score with the Lady eagles with a 42-29 win and they are currently in sole possession of first in 24-4A play.
Lady Dawgs lead District 24-4A
It was another great week to be a Lady Dawg as Burnet varsity Lady Bulldog team picked up two more wins and are the current front runners in District 24-4A with a 6-1 record. Local VFW entry earns Voice of Democracy award
Addison A. Taylor a junior at Faith Academy in Burnet County was named the VFW Department of Texas’s first-place winner and recipient of the Voice of Democracy $10,000 award in the 2024-2025 Voice of Democracy Scholarship program. Big fundraiser brings in big bucks for worthy causes
It was a spectacular evening on Saturday, Jan. 25, when over 300 guests gathered at YMCA for the Highland Lakes Service League annual Chuck Wagon Chow Down auction and dinner. Participants enjoyed many activities, raffles, and live and silent auctions to support the mission.
