This is why I believe ‘school choice’ is a bad idea
Guest Editorial “In theory, there is no difference between practice and theory. In practice, there is.” – quote widely attributed to Yogi Berra School’s choice (aka vouchers/ESAs) is proposed as a state-managed program which has been repeatedly shown in other states to: bust state budgets, fund discrimination against students and families, fail to improve student outcomes, and undermine funding and resources for the public schools. 11/13/2024 02:09 AM

Here are some essential “to do” for your vegetable, herb, and flower gardens: Vegetable Gardens: plant cool-season crops: broccoli, cauliflower, kale, spinach, carrots, radishes, and lettuce. Roadway rehabilitation project to target 45 miles in Burnet
“On the Road Again” is a song written and recorded by Willie Nelson, but I probably didn’t need to tell you that. In fact, most people probably instantly had the tune come to mind when they read the song title. Maintaining city roads is a vital part of upkeeping the city of Burnet’s infrastructure and allowing residents to be on the road again. 09/18/2024 03:12 AM
