Cooler October temperatures welcome gardeners back
October is an excellent time to prepare your garden for the cooler months ahead. Hot meet at McNeil for Dust Dawgs
The soaring heat has only heightened the challenge Burnet’s cross country runners face each week. Last week, at the McNeil Invitational, temperatures rose quickly even though races were held before noon. The Bulldogs and Lady Dawgs work hard daily with conditioning for these scenarios. Head cross country coach, Kristi Jones, consistently reminds her athletes how important practice and hydration is, especially with the district races being just around the corner. In early October the runners could face a vast variation of weather so preparation is key. 09/25/2024 02:16 AM
